idea Show Unsorted Field Names in ArcGIS Pro Delete Field Tool in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

In ArcGIS Pro, the Delete Field tool displays field aliases, sorted in alphabetical order. The problem is the tables I want to delete fields from have several autogenerated fields. It's easy for me to pick out the autogenerated fields if I can see the field names listed in the same order they appear in the table. However, using a sorted list of field aliases means I have to go through each value and pick out which ones were autogenerated (which I want to delete) vs which ones I created (which I want to keep).

Re: Show Unsorted Field Names in ArcGIS Pro Delete Field Tool - Status changed to: Already Offered

The Delete Field tool was changed in Pro 2.9 to use a list of checkboxes as the control, and the fields are ordered the same as the attribute table (controlled through the field order which can be set in the Fields view).

There is another idea about an application-wide setting to control display of field aliases vs. names:
https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/setting-to-disable-field-aliases/idi-p/1114493
