I had asked this question as there is nothing in the help files that say what you should do or not do.<BR /><BR />My idea is simply to update the help with maybe a sentence all two (so not a big task) to explicity state that it is safe to delete map packages from the default install location.<BR /><BR />Over the years I have clearly unpacked many map packages and was surprised that there were so many, for work long finished.
