Convert geoJson file to vector tiles

I would like to see esri provide a way to convert the geojson files we've been using in map layers to the updated vector tile layer. I believe this would prove to be useful for all of us updating to the 4.* versions of Esri. Now that vector maps are more accessible, it would be nice to have the layers in vector format. We have large data sets that are in geoJson format and would like to be able to convert them.

In ArcGIS Pro you can import GeoJSON to a feature class and create tiles a map referencing the imported source.

On ArcGIS Online, you can create a hosted feature layer from GeoJSON and then create a vector tile layer from that hosted feature layer:
