Append Tool Add Input Window

Recently I've been using the append tool (v 10.3.1) more than ever, and while it's a great tool, and really helpful in a model, the fact that every time you need to add an input field with the no-test option, the resulting window pops up in a minimized fashion (see screen capture below). You have to extend the window to find the source field you are looking for. Each time you add/map a field, you repeat the process. Wouldn't be cool if there was an APPLY button in addition to the OK and CANCEL buttons? That way the window could stay open to appropriate size and mapping fields would be a snap....

Closing this as it is specific to ArcMap design. ArcGIS Desktop is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. Append has been redesigned in ArcGIS Pro and new ideas can be submitted against the current Pro design.
