Layout: Scale bar: Keep marks on bar with bar stepping

Pro 3.3.

I discovered the option of adding "Stepping" to simple line scale bars today.

This is pretty cool and gives us a cool way to break up the scale bar.

However, the ticks don't move with the step.

This happens regardless of what position setting you choose for them.

The only way I've found to get around this is to change the size of the ticks (and make sure the position is set correctly).

This largely works, but the thing is that I don't want them that long (so that they extend the entire way to the base of the scalebar

I'd like to see them stay the same size and move with the rest of the bar, if possible:
