idea Refresh Fields In Fields View without remove and re-add in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

When we add field in ArcGIS online it does not reflect in ArcPro until you close and reopen the project or remove layer and readd to the map at which point you have to redo symbology as arcgis online symbology uses picture instead of custom symbols we originally create.

It would be nice to have option to refresh fields in fields view to avoid all the extra steps.

We tried resourcing layer to arcgis online and that still does not show the field we add until project is closed-reopened or layer removed and re-added.

I second that. the only way is to close the project and reopen.

Thanks for this idea @Miralem_Zeljo

I'm making sure that a conversation about the behavior you're seeing is happening internally.

While that's going on, a simple workaround to this hurdle is to add the layer to a new map from the contents pane. This should update the pre-existing layer with the changes that were made to the feature service schema in AGOL without having to close and open the project.
