idea Merge - Can you add OBJ ID for each in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

When I merge, I usually have many segments I want to merge. The software is setup weird in that it the preserve section only includes the OBJ ID if the next field is blank. Can you always add the OBJ ID, because then I always know what field I want to preserve.

The OBJ ID isn't included in the attributes below, so I'm blind to what I want to choose. This would be a great fix.

Thank you.

Is this a question or an Idea?

The Merge pane uses the Display field of the layer. Map > Layer > Properties > Display > Display field.

If the display field is null it'll show the objectid to try and be useful.

If you set the display field for the layer to objectid you'll get the outcome you are looking for.
