Modify Features — Editing tool to update shape from XY fields

ArcGIS Pro 2.9.5; Oracle 18c 10.7.1 EGDB:

I have an existing point FC. Some of the rows have null shapes, but the X and Y columns are populated with valid coordinates.

I want to select multiple rows and use an editing tool in the Modify Features pane to update shape using XY fields. Could that functionality be added to the Modify Features pane? The tool could be used in scenarios where the shape isn’t null as well; just update existing shapes using XY fields.

An editing tool would be more efficient than a multi-step geoprocessing workflow. The FC is locked by multiple users so an attribute rule won’t help.
