The Make Query Table tool produces Query Tables that have a hidden SQL Expression.

The SQL expression behaves similarly to a definition query but with some differences:

The SQL expression is obscured in ArcGIS Pro. It cannot be viewed or edited (unless a .LYRX file is exported and the JSON is viewed/edited in a text editor).
The SQL expression acts as a pre-filter when the layer is used in a join, which solves the following issue: Definition query on join table will effectively result in an inner join

It is very important to know if a Query Table has a hidden SQL expression.

Could Pro be enhanced so that there is an indication that the SQL expression exists? Such as a warning bar in the feature layer properties.
