idea Traverse command in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

Please bring back the traverse interface that was used in Arcmap to Arc Pro. It was much more user friendly. One should be able to hit the "tab" button to enter in the next number in the adjoining field & also be able to import a sketch from your workspace instead of tracing (tracing is time consuming). Also, the traverse should be a continuous line & not in the form of line segments. To time consuming to select all the segments to merge them into one, before one is able to move/rotate the traverse. Lastly, when you complete the traverse, the red dot does not go away. The check mark and the "x" does not end the traverse, unless you select a different command from the ribbon.

I second this 200%!

Traverse was a critical tool used plotting extremely complex metes and bounds descriptions that can sometimes have several pages of survey segment calls, curve geometry etc.

Losing this tool was the primary reason it took me so long to make the change to ArcGIS Pro in the first place.

Best Regards,

Dan

We've also been struggling and cursing the new Pro traverse interface. An additional PIA is you can't load in a subsequent traverse without restarting the POC. In Arcmap, you could load multiple traverses and they'd all revert back to the original point of commencement. It would be great if ESRI could address these issues!
