The Select Layer By Location — Intersect (DBMS) option automatically creates a database view in the workspace where the input/selecting FCs are located. But you wouldn't know that by looking at the tool.

And the docs only mention it indirectly:

Select Layer By Location (Data Management) - Intersect (DBMS)
The user connecting to the geodatabase must have privileges to create a view in the database where the feature classes are stored.

I think it should be clear in the tool that a database view will be created.
