Paste feature opens "Modify Features" pane, would prefer to open "Attributes" pane instead

Whenever I paste a feature, it automatically opens "Modify Features" pane. This is almost never what I need right after pasting a feature. Personally, I would prefer it to open the "Attributes" pane instead.

Can we get an option in the preferences to choose which pane is opened upon feature paste. Also, maybe the option to choose "none", in case the user prefers no change in the currently showing panes upon feature paste. Thanks!
