    <description>&lt;P&gt;When using 'Label Features' (Right-click on feature class&amp;gt;Label Features) it would be very useful to have a tool that would allow the user to click on the labels that you do not want to have drawn. Kind of like the 'label' button found in the Drawing tool bar (see below)...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/204235_0EM30000000CwDO" border="0" alt="0EM30000000CwDO" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;....but reverse that. I would like something like this...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/204236_0EM30000000CwEd" border="0" alt="0EM30000000CwEd" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...which would remove indivdual auto-labels that I don't want drawn. I know you can do this using definition queries to eliminate certain labels, but I'd rather have a 'click' option where I can quickly remove unwanted labels, &lt;STRONG&gt;without &lt;/STRONG&gt;having to convert the labels to annotation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;!--   content transformation source ID: 08730000000bue5   --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The Label tool that you show in the image does not label the map.&amp;nbsp; It creates map annotation that is stored in the map.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To remove text from your map your options are to create a sql query in the label class or to convert the labels to annotation (or map annotation) and then delete the text elements that you don't need.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
