Create a toolbox under ArcTools/Conversion Tools/From Graphics that would let you create point, line, and polygon graphics shapefiles or geodatabase layers. At present the tools are not intuitively under a dropdown menu under Drawing Tools. Conversion tools should be in the conversion toolbox, or a duplicate there.

Yes, many of the people in my office are still in ArcMap.

ArcGIS Desktop is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea for ArcMap. Our recommendation is that users migrate their work to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application. See Migrate from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro for more information.
