Turn off auto backup option

This option causes a lot of problems in our clients' projects such as data loss. And it is annoying too since it will lock up the application every 5 min. It will be great if the default setting of this option is off in the future versions.

Please also see the section on disabling it by default:

Software administrators can provide default values for whether backups are created and for the backup interval, and may prevent you from changing those values. Learn more about application settings and how to make default settings for new projects.

Suggest you post a question asking for assistance around the 'data loss'. Sounds like your using a cloud environment OneDrive etc. Just turn off the autobackups and save regularly.
