LAS related processing: Overwriting input data

LAS related functions on 3D Analyst, Point Cloud are overwriting input data as output.

When checking each results on workflow, user need to manipulate like making folders and copy each results.

If output are created and input are preserved, just like other geoprocessing tools, these problems are solved and users are free from frustration.

Hello and thank you for the message. The classification tools were designed to update the input data because LAS file collections are typically very large and classification is performed in a cumulative process. Were your concerns relating to the tools for classification or some other tools? Would you mind sharing the reason for preferring new output files?
