idea Quick Access Toolbar - pin open in ArcGIS Pro Ideas

For working in smaller windows or screens, it would be nice if there were a way to keep the quick access toolbar open. Perhaps this would be done by doubling the height (essentially docking subsequent rows), or making the floating/expanded portion repositionable so as to keep it out of the way of the view tabs.

I noticed Google Docs doing a similar thing recently, and it's quite nice. The toolbar stays open until you dismiss it, even as you type.

Obviously, a full set of dockable toolbars a la ArcMap would be a better solution here, but if toolbars are not returning then something is needed to make the QAT a better workaround. The inability to develop muscle memory and extra clicks to get to your buttons add up to a frustrating "Pro" experience.
