Null should be visually different from '' in attribute table

ArcGIS Pro 2.6.8; Oracle 18c 10.7.1 EGDB:

In the attribute table:

The value in the first row for TEST_FIELD equals '<Null>'. The value in the second row is a true null.

We can't tell from looking at the attribute table that the two values are different. The only way determine if a value is one or the other is to query it using Select By Attributes, etc.

Idea: It would be very helpful if we could visually discern the difference between null and '<Null>' right in the attribute table.

Sounds like conditional formatting that you get in Excel? I think if it was limited to just colouring up Nulls that would be OK but colouring up other values feels like overkill. Good idea though.

@DuncanHornby For true nulls, the text could be italicized, a lighter grey color, or something like that.

QGIS handles the same situation by having actual NULL italicized and light-grey.
