Display vertex numbers on nodes while editing

Edited to make it clear that this idea pertains to an editing session, not a layer's label properties.

It would be helpful if there were an optional setting where we could see vertex numbers on nodes while editing.

It would look like this:

Could that be added as an optional setting in ArcGIS Pro?

Dear devs and users,

I suggest to add a way to show numbers of "trail points", when editing lines or polygons.

This would come in handy when navigating along longer lines in editmode.

hmmm something went wrong in the titel.. should be "Trailpoints", not "Trainpoints" ofc.

could not find a way to edit this....
