Make Layer from Selected features using Subtype Layers

ArcGIS Pro has a limitation on the Subtype Groups Layers that you cannot make a layer out of the Selected features.

"You cannot perform a selection on the subtype group layer"

We would like to request ESRI to consider this as a enhancement feature.

In Utility Network, In the Layer listing as per the Cartography requirements we would need to see Asset Groups and symbolize by Asset Types, when this is achieved and Utility Network users needs to perform any analysis on the data without disturbing the sanity of the Utility Network topology, they need to have a feature in ArcGIS Pro where they can create a Layer from the selection. Currently they have to create a new map and add the domain feature classes ,make a selection and make layer from the selection, and this is a overwhelming for the users and instead if they can make layer from Subtype group selection it would save lot of time and effort for the users.

This Idea has been implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.1. Please see the What's New documentation for more new features in Pro 3.1.
