Apply blend modes to labels

Love the 'Layer Blend' and 'Feature Blend' options in ArcGIS Pro 2.7!

Would really love to be able to apply blend modes to labels as well. Often I'm working with labels that I would like to be small/subtle, so halo isn't the best option. Blend modes would provide more flexibility to create small, legible labels across a variety of tones & feature symbols.

Technically I'm able to apply blend if I convert to annotation first, but this results in missing labels in other layers (as described here), so it isn't a viable workaround for me presently.

Hi - I've logged an enhancement request for this.

The issue you're having with the annotation - have you logged a bug in with technical support? if so can you send me the number for it?

if not - can you send a reproducible case?

Commenting here to second this. I know it's Under Consideration already, but I was really wishing that this were possible today.
