The properties/options for the standalone tables in general are less robust than those for the spatial Content pane layers. I realize there are probably fewer users of standalone tables, but as someone who is typically using one feature class with spatial data that is related in the database to many standalone tables, I am often finding I can't do what I need to do in Pro with the standalone tables.
