Allow Layout Import Gallery path to be set during multi-user installation/upgrades

We have a directory that contains map template layout files that users in our organisation require.

While it is possible for a user to set their Import Gallery Path themselves in the settings, there isn't a way for our Technology team to deploy the same file path setting to everyone who uses ArcGIS Pro in the organisation when it is newly installed/upgraded on their machines. It can be quite tedious to get everybody to do this individually.

Currently, setting this file path organisation wide is possible with ArcMap but not with ArcGIS Pro. Can we get feature parity by adding the ability to do this in Pro?

We definitely need this option for our local government organisation to be able to control and standardise outgoing maps. It would form part of our governance strategy.

This functionality has been added in ArcGIS Pro 3.0. See to see this and all of the other ideas you can look forward to when you upgrade.
