Mobile-friendly Web Maps

Novice question:

I have created my first few web maps via the Enterprise Portal. They work as expected when viewed on my desktop browser, but when I try to view the maps on my mobile phone (Pixel using Chrome), the "pinch-to-zoom" and pan functionality do not work. I just have a static map. What do I need to do to customize my web maps for mobile-friendly use?

Seems to be a known issue with Pixel 2.

Similar behavior reported on the referenced thread was fixed in the latest version of the JSAPI but the newest version of Chrome (70) introduced a new, but similar issue.

This is expected to be addressed in the mid December update to ArcGIS Online and the 3.27 version of the JSAPI.
