    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;How would you combine a Feature Class of Polylines into a single Single Polyline Objects to reduce the number of Objects from many to one?&amp;nbsp; The goal is to reduce the number credits for storage, and potentially increase the speed for rendering.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried Dissolve and Merge but the number of Object remains the same as the original.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: arial, helvetica, 'helvetica neue', verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;If you are using ArcMap 10.x and have an Advanced/ArcInfo license, you can try running a multipart to single part tool, then using the unsplit line tool:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: arial, helvetica, 'helvetica neue', verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;A class="unlinked" title="http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//001700000040000000"&gt;http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//001700000040000000&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;TABLE border="1"&gt;&lt;TBODY&gt;&lt;TR&gt;&lt;TD&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: arial, helvetica, 'helvetica neue', verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;Merges lines that have coincident endpoints and, optionally, common attribute values.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/TD&gt;&lt;/TR&gt;&lt;/TBODY&gt;&lt;/TABLE&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;You may need to run a topology check, too, to make sure your polylines are coincident.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
