To zoom in further than the default scale range, a tiled map service package with a custom scale range can be created in ArcMap, published to ArcGIS Online, and used as a basemap.

You can follow the direction on this link: How To: Set a custom scale range for a tile service in ArcGIS Online (do not forget the cache size limitation)

And another post you can rely on:https://community.esri.com/thread/88220

I hope it helps...

Charlotte

Hello,

I created a tile package for my aerial photography that I had automatically uploaded to my AGO account. Unfortunately, I needed to add a couple more LOD to my scale because it stops a little short.

I went back into my project file and modified the scale settings to included 564 and 282 (see Scale Settings attachment).

I then went through the tile package creation scenario and when checking the Tile Format section it still only reads a scale down to 1128 (see Tile Format attachment).

Any suggestions?
