How to remove a user?

I am trying to remove a user for the first time. The help pages tell me there should be a red cross next to the users name on my organization page....but I don't see one!

Hi. This is probably not useful, but you do have to have an "Administrator" role for your user account to do some maintenance. To confirm, can you change user roles? That is another capability of an Administrator role.

Click on the Groups tab and then on the name of the Group that has the person you want to remove in it.

It will open up that group and show you all the maps in the gallery and the users.

If the users do not have a red X next to it then you are not an administrator you will need to contact the administrator to remove them.

Yes it eventually dawned on me that I was logged in as a user and not as admin.
