I have an app within Experience builder and it has a 2D map on one page. I want the user to click a button labelled '3D' which opens a new page in the experience which has a 3D scene in it and then zoom to the same extent as the 2D map.

I don't want to link the maps using a map action for the map extent as we have found that it really slows the performance of our default 2D map (as it is constantly trying to render the 3D map at the same time in the background and removing this behavior speeds up our app significantly).

My other idea is to try using URL parameters. Is this possible? If do how do I go around this.

I have enabled URL parameters in my 2D map for centre, scale and rotation. Can I somehow pass these into the 3D Map when the user clicks the button to open it. (Note I am not a developer although this app is being building on Experience Building Developer Version. Thanks,

I did see this post but still not any clearer.

https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-questions/opening-experience-builder-at-a-specific-map/m-p/1411021#M12135
