AGOL webmap settings Search by Layer configuration on secure enterprise service corrupted from AGOL update

AGOL update corrupted Search ByLayer configuration in the AGOL webmap settings page. This affected ALL maps across the organization. This happens only for secure services on Enterprise servers, that are referenced by URL. Example:

https://serverdomain/webadapter/rest/services/Servicename/FeatureServer

Secure Layer Names are replaced by “Polyline”, and attributes replaced by "LineWidth" and other graphic values. See image

Nonsecure services are not affected

Webmap loads secure layers correctly, requesting the username for the secure service (Server Manager user store). Previously configured webmaps continue to work, but Search can't be reconfigured in Settings. New maps and copies of existing maps can't be configured to search the secure layer.
