Citizen Problem Reporter Request Type Other

Hello All!

I have been working on setting up the AGOL Citizen Problem Reporter V3 for our community. One issue I'm running into is the 'Request Type' drop-down menu on the Problem Reporter Instant App, is displaying two categories with request types to choose from:

Recommended- which are the actual request types that are associated with the selected Request Category

Other- which is a list of all the request types within the CSV file that the data is pulling from. If you select a request type from the 'other' category, you get an error that the "Value is incompatible with other selected values"

Is there a way to remove the Other category and only show Request Types that are associated with the selected Request Category? I've tried to manipulate the Request Types Notebook and add an Arcade Expression to the Request Type Form within the Map with no success.

I am also struggling with this "feature". I would like just a normal pull down please, I have made a domain for a reason, I have 3 choices, no need for "Recommended". I have a lot of frustrated users because when they select a recommended it makes them reselect the value again. The application is supposed to be a quick data entry tool and it is clunkier than just writing it down a sticky note:(

Our users have also reported dissatisfaction with this function, and have been rather frustrated with trying to understand how to rectify the error 😞

I am in the process of testing this before I start to revise this for my needs. I am using a browser and neither my request category or request type have a drop down option. Is this is something that is only available if they download the application itself?

FYI All I had to do was.

Open the item page and click Open Notebook

then

Click Run then Run all Calls.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I would like to hide the Other Request Types listed.

Unfortunately, we did not find a solution to this. I believe it is something ESRI needs to fix on their end.
