Hosted Feature Service Disappeared

While editing in ArcGIS Pro, I began to get a schema lock and could not save. Shortly after, I received an error that the feature service no longer exists. I logged into AGOL to find that the hosted feature service had disappeared. The service definition and web map were still there.

I had to publish a new web map until I could figure out a cause.

Had anyone had to deal with this before? Any cause, or explanation from ESRI?

Did it get deleted and moved to the Recycle Bin?

No one was on AGOL to delete it. I'm the only user that accesses AGOL at this time.

I would contact technical support and see if they can assist.
