Web Map for utiliites- password functionality

We get a lot of requests from engineers about our utilities. As opposed to sending screenshots, could we make a web map where we can send a link and password to engineering firms? We could then terminate the passwords after their work is done. Is there something similar to the group sharing functionality that AGOL supports but for passwords?

Like the idea, but how about it being a onetime only password rather than having to micro-manage passwords. I assume giving the utilities a viewer account is out the question?

AFAIK there is no native functionality that would allow for this within AGOL. You would need to look at creating a separate application through this an hosting on your own server, azure env, etc.
