topic Editing Characters in REST URL in ArcGIS Online Questions

I'm about to publish a dataset to a shared resource and I realize just now that I have made a mistake in the naming convention that affects the way the URL appears. I have a sense that I can use the AGO Assistant to edit the text of a URL, but I have not had any luck in doing so.

Is the literal text of the URL unchangeable? Will I have to republish something with the correct naming convention and "live and learn"?
