topic Data sources incorrect after using AGO Assistant to change URL's in a web map in ArcGIS Online Questions

I have an application for users internal to our Org to view our water and sewer data. I then made a copy of the application for use by people outside of our Org, but I wanted to use layer views to restrict some of the data in the source layers. So I created all the layer views, then used AGO Assistant to edit the JSON of the source URL's for the operational layers to the view layers I just created. The JSON edits saved successfully, but when I go to the layer source from Map Viewer, it still points to the original layer.

Am I doing something incorrectly, or is this just a case of AGO Assistant not being supported by Esri for a reason?

Turns out I just edited the URL, but I forgot to edit the itemID as well! That fixed it.
