File Folder Link in Pop up

Hi, I have been trying to figure out how to link a file folder in a local server to a pop up in a web map and I have not been able to solve my issue yet in another Q&A. Is there anyone that can tell me if it is possible or not to create a hyperlink to a file folder in the pop up? Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge this is not possible. In general, web browsers are restricted from accessing the local file system.

We've also experienced this problem in the past. UNC path links were supported at one time (in ArcGIS for Flex, etc. - not ArcGIS Online), but are no longer to my knowledge. The work-around was creating a virtual directory in IIS.
