    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm attempting to add a hosted scene layer and getting an error message that the Normal reference frame is incompatible with layer spatial reference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;dojo.js:408 [esri.layers.SceneLayer] #load() Failed to load layer (title: 'San Francisco landmarks - San Francisco.landmarks', id: '16631fa9cdd-layer-1') h {name: "scenelayer:incompatible-normal-reference-frame", message: "Normal reference frame is incompatible with layer spatial reference.", details: undefined}&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm looking at&amp;nbsp;&lt;A class="link-titled" href="https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-/3d-gis/how-to-publish-scene-layers-in-arcgis-/" title="https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-/3d-gis/how-to-publish-scene-layers-in-arcgis-/"&gt;How to Publish Scene Layers in ArcGIS &lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;by Russel Roberts and am finding that I don't have all of the options. I'm wondering if this is why I'm getting the error message. If yes, do I need organizational permissions?       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Marc,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The first thing I'm noticing that the one in the the tutorial is a &lt;STRONG&gt;hosted feature layer&lt;/STRONG&gt; and on your map it is a &lt;STRONG&gt;scene package.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These two have different capabilities and why you are seeing different options take a look at this information:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/hosted-web-layers.htm"&gt;Hosted Feature Layer&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/sharing/overview/scene-layer-package.htm"&gt;Scene Layer Package&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is a few different options that are stated in the article:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Share directly from Arc Pro to ArcGIS Online&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Share&amp;gt;Share Web Scene&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;This will open publish a web scene&amp;gt;Open in web scene&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Upload in ArcGIS Online a hosted feature layer:&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When uploading in ArcGIS Online it will have to be a zipped gdb or shapefile not the scene package&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Then go to Add item&amp;gt;Add from computer&amp;gt;Publish as hosted feature layer&lt;IMG class="image-1 jive-image" src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/423496_pastedImage_1.png" /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;This will publish a hosted layer.
