Hello,

I am attempting to create a standalone copy of a hosted feature layer, following the instructions in this ESRI video: https://mediaspace.esri.com/media/t/1_5pdsw09f

My original hosted feature layer is projected to NAD 83 UTM Zone 17N (WKID 26917). When I export it to a feature collection, it keeps the same projection. However, once I publish the feature collection, it reprojects to Web Mercator Aux Sphere (WKID 3857).

How do I keep the same projection when creating a copy of a hosted feature layer?

If publishing within ArcGIS Online, it will only use 3857. ArcGIS Pro will publish using the coordinate service used in the map. You will have to export as FGDB (instead of Feature Collection), download and open it in Pro and publish is from there.
