topic User needs to be able to search for address or drop a point twice (beginning and end) to see if its within a polygon in ArcGIS Online Questions

Hello! Thanks for your time in advance.

I've recently had a request to develop a public facing application where a user could come on and either lookup an address, or drop a point on the map as an beginning point, and repeat the process as as ending point and running both points against a polygon to see if they are within said polygon. I'd like to be able to return a conditional textual response as well (i.e. both points are valid, one is not, etc..)

I've done some playing around with Zone Lookup and it seems like I was able to get part of the way there, I just wasn't able to filter the results down as much as I'd like and was limited to one point.

I've also tried to explore experience builder options as well - edit, search, near me, etc to see if I can manipulate it to function how I'd like. So far I'm coming up short, but still hoping its possible.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to avoid a fully custom application if possible but am open to that route if there is no out of the box answer.

I wonder if spatial filters within the query widget would help at all. I think you are limited to 1 point there as well, but maybe they could draw a line.
