ArcGIS Pro publishing error "External sharing process failed"

Hi everyone,

I was publishing from my ArcGIS Pro (publisher role) to my ArcGIS Online. I kept getting this error: "External sharing process failed".

The log said only: Status: Failed ErrorMessage: Failed to publish web layer

I tried with the same project publishing in another ArcGIS Online organization (I have another account) and I did it successfully. So I thought it was something in the AGOL organization.

So I did three things:

the administrator changed my role in administrator
verified my email
changed the default data and time format of my account from US to Italian (same as the organization)

After this changes the publishing process was successful!

I don't think the first two things actually solved the problem. Maybe the third one...?

Can this really be the solution? How can the data format affect the publishing process? Moreover, my layer didn't have any "data" field.

I looked online but i didn't find useful documentation (maybe this post will help someone...). Only this thread and a post by Esri about a python error:
