Enabling Attachments on a layer I created

I have created a layer in GIS Online by dropping a CSV file. I want to be able to input data using Field Maps but can't make a field and style it for "Attachments".

I'm a teacher and created al layer two years ago with no problems. Now I'm making a new layer so I can show my current students. If Create the layer in GIS Online I can't "Enable Sync" bringing in the CSV file solves the problem but creates the attachment problem.

Any solutions??

I have enabled the attachments. The data I collect does show up in the table in the map even the picture I take however the symbol at the location does not appear on the map.
