Why does "Enable editing" get stuck on "updating item"?

ArcGIS online: Feature Layer (hosted). Why when I try and check (tick) "Enable editing" and click "Save" my section is not accepted the screen gets stuck on "Updating item"

A few questions -- Does this happen with other feature layers or just this one? Also, are other users also encountering a similar issue?

You can try to clear your browser cache and/or use a different network to see whether or not the problem persists. Hope that helps!

Having this same issue.

Tried different browsers, cleared browser cache, tried it with different layers - same thing happens.

Any guidance?
