WMS displays in WebMap Classic but not WebMap

Dear AGOL community,

The OGC WMS below will open and display in AGOL WebMap Classic. However the same WMS appears to load but will not display in the current AGOL WebMap. Have tried a couple of display parameters to no avail. Any thoughts on how to get the layer to display greatly appreciated.

Hi Damian, Thanks for reporting this. We are investigating the issue. In the mean time you can try adding the url with a custom paramater that replaces the + with a space and it should at least initially render in MV. See below:

I have a similar problem. But I don't understand the solution.

I have created maps that include WMS layers. They do show in the classic map viewer, but not in the new map viewer. Also, I included them in a storymap that I made years ago with the classic storymap template, but they do not show when I want to map a storymap with the new storymap builder.
