If you are only wanting a way for editors to enter misc. notes that should be easy. You can <A href="https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/add-or-delete-fields.htm" target="_self">add a string field&nbsp; </A>with a high character limit to the feature layer. Then, if you have the editor widget in the app the users will be able to enter information for the selected feature.
