topic Does AGOL support raster pyramids? in ArcGIS Online Questions

I wanted to share some high res imagery with a contractor via AGOL. I published it up as a hosted tile layer however it seems that the pyramid has gone. When zoomed out the imagery looks grainy and I'm assuming that's because either there is no pyramid (I guess the tile cache kinda replaces it doesn't it?) or there is a pyramid and my setting of bilinear resampling has been replaced by nearest neighbour.

Is there a way to ask AGOL to use bilinear either at the tile generator, pyramid (if there is one), or renderer?

Local raster in Pro with bilinear pyramid

Same raster published as hosted tile layer in AGOL viewed in Pro
