"Create Layer View" not available for a Hosted Feature Layer

Hello, I have a hosted feature service in AGOL which I had created a view for before. Now, the option to "Create Layer View" in the Overview page is unavailable (see screenshot). The layer has an attachment size of 57,561 MB - could the size be preventing the creation of new views? I appreciate any help regarding this issue.

Can you confirm that you're looking at the original source layer, and not the existing view? You can create new views of the source, but not of an existing view.

Also, can you confirm whether or not you are the owner of the layer? You may not be able to create views of a layer you don't own.

Hi Josh, thanks for your reply. Yes, I am looking at the original source layer and not the existing view.

I recently had the same issue and realized that I had reassigned the owner to another account after creating the feature layer. I reassigned the layer to myself, refreshed the page, and "Create view layer" option reappeared. I could then reassign both layers back to the account I wanted it on.
