Feature service Symbols

Can someone please tell me why some of the symbols of my edited feature service is not appearing on the map?

If your edits aren't displaying on the web map, try investigating if this is a display issue or if the edits aren't successfully being submitted.

If you change the symbology to location only, do the newly added points appear? If so, you may have set the symbols so they don't include the newly added values from the edits. Take a look at your symbology and see what needs to be updated.

If you notice that the edits aren't setting, try monitoring the apply edits call with developer tools. If the edit is not valid, there may be a more specific error message as to why the edit did not succeed. Example, are there z values in the data, are there fields that can't be set to null.

If these steps don't help narrow down the issue, try contacting support services to look into the issue further.

Thanks, Kelly,

I noticed that there is additional Value (symbol) labeled as 'Other values'

that has all the edited features that didn't appear on the map. These

edited features reappeared when I symbolized them with the color as the

original symbol but still separate from the original values (Planted

area). I really don't know how they appeared as 'other values'. Is there a

way to add them back to the original edited values (Planted areas)?

Hi Baffour,

If they are being added to different values from the planted values, ensure that the correct field corresponds to the value that has been symbolized. Feel free to share your web map here if you want some specific help.

Hi Kelly,

Below is the link. If you check from the summary you could see that 15 of

the registered plant areas symbol are not shown. They are from one

particular 'STATUS' (Forseslått av grunneier ) .

Can you share a screenshot of where you are seeing the issue? I can't seem to find the layer you mentioned.

Hi Kelly, above is the screenshot of the Service. The 'Yellow marked'

registered features are the same, but one is without symbol colour or name

('Annet' which means others) despite picking them from the same object

(Foreslått av grunneier). The Summary at the Webapp shows the correct total

number of 'Foreslått av grunneier' registered (Foreslått av grunneier +

Annet).
