Making Attachments read-only

I have a feature layer that multiple people in my organization will edit (via a Web-Experience Editor and the Field Maps App). The layer has attachments (pictures), and I want to make sure these attachments don't get deleted and that the users can't accidentally add more pictures. I know that I can make attributes non-editable, and have done so with multiple attributes in this layer. Is there a possibility to do the same with the attachments, i.e. make them read-only?

I don't believe this is possible, but I submitted an Idea a while back for it:

That's a pity, would be such a handy feature. Thanks for your reply and posting the idea, here's hoping that they'll implement it sometime soon!
