Transfer item ownership outside of organization

Is it possible to transfer items (maps and apps) to ArcGIS Online members that are not a part of my organization, but that do have valid ArcGIS Online accounts?

We have multiple external partners whom we need to be able to transfer content to.

An administrator of an organization can change the owner of an item to another member in the organization, but can't transfer the item to an account outside of the organization.

However, for an item like a map that is accessible by another person, it is possible for that other person to do a "Save as" to make their own copy of the map.

Hey Denise, I would recommend checking out AGOL assistant. It is not officially supported but for copying content between accounts in different organisations it can be really useful.
