Your best bet will be editing the dashboard's JSON directly. You can do this with the AGO Assistant, or via the REST endpoint, or through the ArcGIS Python API. What kind of widget is it? That will determine what to look for in the JSON.

Afternoon,

I am creating an application for a client and I want to change the category aliases. there are about 140 different options but when changing aliases in the configure menu it does not load all of them for me to alter. When I click load categories it does not load in any more. I'm hoping someone can advise me the best course of action.
