List of fonts in ArcGIS Pro:

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.8/help/mapping/layer-properties/text-symbols.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_552E4443A0254E60AE7BB51A86BCEEDD

For Web Maps, you could go the standard fonts (I believe these are most accessible for web use). Article applies to Map Viewer Classic, so maybe the list of options has increased:

Arial, Courier New, Garamond, Tahoma, Times New Roman, and Verdana
https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000022500

Different parts of the ArcGIS API for JavaScript will identify what fonts are supported for the purpose. e.g. for the new Web Map Viewer (JS 4.x), the list of fonts when configuring a label would likely align to the list for the Labeling FeatureLayers in the developers site:

https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/labeling/

Related, you can embed fonts, and there is some discussion around how it is supported here:

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.8/help/sharing/analyzer-warning-messages/20025-layer-uses-font-not-embeddable.htm

The machine/server can support installed fonts. Some groups of fonts (type 1) appear less supported for web layers, meaning the Helvetica will be substituted for Arial.

It seems messy but I imagine it's a result of these font packages being maintained by third parties. I recall ArcGIS Server dropping a particular font in one release. Would recommend leaning toward the clean, default fonts where possible.

Is there anywhere we can find a list of supported fonts for content created/edited within ArcGIS Online and Pro-authored content that is published to AGOL? One that is updated regularly and includes some kind of matrix where these fonts can be used? E.g., pop-ups, labels, vector tiles, AGOL vs Enterprise/Portal, etc. Thanks!
